It’s not often we get to work for royalty. But when our friends at Breakfast for Dinner said the mighty Prince Cheddward was returning to the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl and we had only a short time to deliver over 20 pieces for it, we knew we had to answer the call. First up was a storybook reading of the Prince’s return (for which BFD got a legitimate book designed in extremely short order). The trick here was making the timing work between our scratch read and the approved hero VO so we needed to be sneaky to make it seamless. Then we had a whole host of moments for the big screen during the big game: Prince Cheddward throwing a first down, arguing with the refs, and having a dance-off with young whippersnapper Ched-Z in an epic mascot battle. And, at the last moment, we were tasked with creating a professional wrestling-inspired intro video for him using only assets we already had in the can. In the end, we delivered everything on-time and on-brand to the royal standard.
