When Propper told director Geoff Cardin they had a client who might be available to do a short doc discussing how he used their high quality workwear in his woodworking business, it sounded like a good idea. It turned out it was much better than a good idea. David Stine‘s story about how he turned his family farm into a generational business was so interesting that we decided to make the project primarily about his life and work. It’s rare that a client looking to make some social spots is okay letting their products take a back seat to the subject, but luckily the folks at Propper agreed. We really loved getting to know David’s story and helping tell at least a little part of it.
