To promote their newest reverse osmosis filter system, the X Series, Waterdrop Filter upgraded existing customers’ systems and naturally wanted to document their thoughts on the new experience.
With these types of projects, there’s frequently the risk that the subject will not provide a quality interview or production challenges will cause some issues in post. Luckily, we had the team at Hike Creative on the case; they delivered great interviews and footage allowing us to craft an engaging story to go alongside the testimonial goals of the series. For instance, being able to open with shots of the home or neighborhood not only puts the location in perspective, but also provides us some breathing room: we’re not looking at procedural or product shots the whole time. This helps them feel more authentic and less sales-y.
And although we had to cut it for time, there was some real captivating footage of Bob’s fish that we really wanted to use because of course he fills the aquarium with his Waterdrop filtered tap water!
